Rosa Bacharach is born on August 9, 1886 in Langen and the mother of Alice Bacharach who is also recorded in this Memorial Book.
She was the daughter of Herz Strauß and Louise, née May.
On April 8, 1913 she married the merchant Moritz Bacharach in Langen.
Rosa Bacharach was with her daughter Alice, who was born on June 3, 1915 in Crumstadt, from August 10, 1915 in the Home 'Isenburg'. She left the Home on March 2, 1917 without her daughter, to Frankfurt/Main. On October 12, 1917 she moved again to Crumstadt, near Darmstadt. Her daughter Alice moved to Crumstadt on May 23, 1917 and came to her grandparents in Langen on October 4, 1917.
Rosa und Moritz Bacharach lived in Mansbach and were deported on December 9, 1941 from Kassel to Riga and from there on November 2, 1943 to Auschwitz.
Both were murdered there.
