Alex Gurbisch was born on April 22, 1923 in Frankfurt/Main. From October 24, 1924 until February 18, 1925; on August 13, 1926 and from August 14, 1926 until August 12, 1927 he was in the Home 'Isenburg'. Every time he moved back to his parents to Frankfurt/Main. They lived in Ingolstädterstr. 9.

On November 12, 1941 he was deported, toghether with his mother Jenny Gurbisch, née Katz, to the Ghetto Minsk.
