Clementine Sophie Krämer lived in München, where she was active in social works as a women's rights activist and as an author of short stories and children's books. She was involved in the establishment of the Munich local groups of the Jewish Women's Association and the Association for Women's Suffrage and was active in youth welfare. After the collapse of her husband's bank, Max Krämer & Co., in 1929, Clementine worked as a saleswoman. During the Nazi period, she made several attempts to emigrate but failed. Clementine Sophie Krämer spent two weeks in the Neu-Isenburg Home of the Jewish Women's Association in 1938. The reason for this is not known. She was probably acquainted with Bertha Pappenheim and visited her to get on-site information about the state of the Neu-Isenburg home.

In spring 1942 Clementine Sophie Krämer was deported from the Milbertshofen internment camp to the Theresienstadt ghetto. She was already seriously ill at the time. She died in the Theresienstadt ghetto on November 4, 1942, at 10.15 am, four months after she was taken away. According to the death note, the cause of death was intestinal catarrh.
