Karola Oberdorfer was 15 years old when she was admitted to the Home of the Jewish Women’s Association in Neu-Isenburg in the middle of March 1941. She stayed one year. When “Heim Isenburg" was dissolved, she had to return to her hometown of Theilheim near Schweinfurt on March 24, 1942. From there, she was deported to the district of Lublin the same year - with which transport is not secured. Probably Karola Oberdorfer and her mother Else were dragged to Krasnystaw on April 25, 1942. In this transport, 31 of the 65 Jewish women and men from Theilheim, who were killed in the Holocaust, were deported, but only two persons from this transport are particularly occupied.

Karola's father, Siegfried Oberdorfer, born on August 22, 1890 in Wittelshofen, was deported from Düsseldorf on April 22, 1942 to the ghetto of Izbica.:
