Käthe Ronneberger was born on March 31, 1920 in Berlin After the marriage certificate (Arolsen Archives: DocID: 76794690) she was born in Vienna.

Her parents are Hugo Ronneberger und Julie, née Blitz.

She stayed in the Home 'Isenburg' from February 24, 1938 until November 28, 1938. In one document ((Arolsen Archives: DocID: 79680878)) it's only mentioned that she stayed in Frankfurt/Main from December 1937 until December 1938. But there is noticed the following: Maid Internt (!) Frankfurt an (!) Main, Germany. It could be meant that she was in the Home 'Isenburg' because it's fact that she was there from February 24, 1938 until November 28, 1938.

On May 26, 1945 she married the surgeon Dr. Arthur Lantward in Berlin-Charlottenburg. He was born on March 5, 1914 in Purmerend, Holland.

From December 1938 until February 1942 she was with her grandparents in Berlin.

From February 1942 until April 22, 1945 she was arrested in Berlin.

From April 22, 1945 until August 1945 she was in the DP-Camp in Berlin, after from August 1945 until December 15, 1948 in the DP-Camp in Kevelaer. Here on July 16, 1946 she gave birth to her daughter Ruth

Since December 16, 1948 she was in Dusseldorf, there she lived with her daughter in the Parkstreet since August 29, 1949 (Arolsen Archives, DocID: 79680877).
