Ruth Salomon is recorded exclusively in the first list of September 1935 handed-down from the Neu-Isenburg Home of the Jewish Women’s Association. It is not known how long she had previously lived in “Heim Isenburg.”
Ruth Salomon probably returned from Neu-Isenburg to her hometown of Berlin. She was already held there for more than a year before her deportation in November 1941. On October 12, 1940, the then 22-year-old was sent to the Ravensbrück concentration camp, and then to the Moabit prison on November 16. Perhaps she was held there as a prisoner on remand waiting for a trial. On February 22, 1941, she was locked-up again in the Ravensbrück concentration camp. Before being taken from Berlin to the Ghetto on November 27, she was once again imprisoned in the Moabit Prison.
