Marianne Steinweg is the daughter of the Erna Steinweg, who is also recorded in this memorial book. Shortly after her birth she she came together with her mother to the home of the Jewish Women's Association in Neu-Isenburg. Two months later Erna Steinweg left the institution. Marianne spent almost her entire, very short life here. When the home "Isenburg" home was closed in 1942, Marianne was transferred to the children's home of the "Weibliche Fürsorge" in Frankfurt/Main, Hans-Thoma-Straße 24. She was deported from Frankfurt on 15 September 1942 to the ghetto Theresienstadt and from there two years later to the Auschwitz concentration and extermination camp. Presumably Marianne Steinweg, a six-year-old girl, was murdered immediately after arrival.
