Date of Death/Place of Death-

Ruth Bachheimer was just 32 years old when she was taken for an internship in February 1937 at the Neu-Isenburg Home of the Jewish Women's Association. She wanted to be a kindergarten teacher.

Ruth Bachheimer was born on 03/01/1905 in Wesermünde. She grew up there with her brother Hermann Otto who was born in 1898 and with her parents Solomon and Fanny Bachheimer, née Oppenheimer.

From Neu-Isenburg, Ruth Bachheimer had been logged out to Nauheim. She lived and worked at the Jewish retirement home in Frankfurter Straße 63-65 (then Hermann-Görig Straße) before her deportation.

Ruth Bachheimer was probably deported on September 30, 1942, from Darmstadt to the extermination camp Treblinka. Her brother Hermann Otto survived the Shoah. He managed to escape to New York.
