Arnold Beitowitz is the son of Sella Beitowitz, who also recorded in this Memorial Book. He died at the State Institute of Brandenburg-Görden, a psychiatric hospital which existed during the Nazi era from 1939. Children and young people were systematically abused and killed in medical experiments. It is unclear whether or not, the four-year-old Arnold Beitowitz was a victim of the Nazi euthanasia. Arnold Beitowitz was buried in a cemetery on the grounds of the national institute. Not the victims of the murder were buried there, but patients who had died of natural causes.
The information on the death of Arnold Beitowitz was taken from an article of Märkische General / Brandenburg courier from 01/05/2010 and corrected and supplemented by oral information from Friedrich Hauer.
