Margarete (Grete) Grünstein was born on March 6, 1902 in Stuttgart. She was in the Home 'Isenburg' from January 2, 1918-September 4, 1918. She moved to Scheidswaldstr. 72 in Frankfurt/Main.

On June 23, 1924 she came from Stuttgart to the Home 'Isenburg' and stayed until February 26, 1925.

On June 22, 1927 she gave birth to her illegitimate daughter Hedwig Grünstein. With her she was in the Home 'Isenburg' from July 7, 1927 until August 25, 1927.

Together they left to Baumweg 21 in Frankfurt/Main. 

She was in the State Hospital Hadamar. 

From May 14, 1940 until November 10, 1941 Margarete and Hedwig Grünstein lived in the Allerheiligenstr. 77 in Frankfurt/Main.

On November 12, 1941 Margarete Grünstein was deported with the second transport from Frankfurt/Main to the Ghetto Minsk.

Her parents are Arnold (merchant) and Hedwig Grünstein, née Flatow.
