Lieselotte Rosenthal was born as a daughter of Isidor and Elsa Rosenthal in Lyk in East Prussia. On November 8, 1935, she came to the care of the "Heim Isenburg" at the age of 16. Two months later, she was arrested in the home because she had allegedly spoken contemptuously about Hitler. They were taken to Offenbach for interrogation.
Possibly Lieselotte remained imprisoned for months. At least, shortly after the incident, on January 8, 1936, she was deported from the home and relisted on November 10, 1937. According to the surviving sister Lieselotte Rosenthal died 1943 in a concentration camp.:
