Henny Oppenheimer was the daughter of Martha Oppenheimer, who is also recorded in this Memorial Book. She was born on December 30, 1935, at the Israelite Hospital in Frankfurt, Gagernstraße 36. After her birth, she lived together with her mother Martha for a year at the Jewish Women's Home in Neu-Isenburg. Henny is recorded in the lists of the home only on April 2, 1936, but since her mother was demonstrably lodged in the institution after her birth, it is to be assumed that the girl together with her mother was in the care of “Heim Isenburg."

At the beginning of March 1937, Martha Oppenheimer moved to Frankfurt am Main, where she took a job as a house employee in a retirement home for the Israeli. Henny stayed in Neu-Isenburg, but still had contact with her mother, who participated in the maintenance costs beside the Offenbach district youth office. In 1941 the guardianship was transferred to the Jewish Community of Frankfurt, which now had to pay welfare for the accommodation costs. At this point, Martha Oppenheimer was deported to Berlin, where she probably had to do forced labor.

In the course of the dissolution of “Heim Isenburg," Henny was transferred to a Jewish children's home on February 26, 1942, in Berlin. In the files are shown different institutions: the nursery at Fehrbelliner Straße 92 and the nursery at Moltkestraße 8. Henny's last address in Berlin was Berlin Mitte, Holzmarktstraße 66. Possibly this was a ghetto house in which Henny together with her mother lived. Martha Oppenheimer married in Berlin and bore the surname Martczak.

Seven years old Henny Oppenheimer was deported to the Auschwitz concentration and extermination camp on March 2, 1943, together with her mother. Henny Oppenheimer was probably murdered immediately after her arrival in Auschwitz.
