Johanna (Hannah) Stern was the daughter of Daniel and Selma Stern, née Reinhardt. The Family lived in Hergershausen near Dieburg. Johanna (Hannah) was almost one and a half year in the Home of the Jewish Women's Association in Neu-Isenburg. Possibly she completed a training here. In September 1929 the 15-year-old came back to her parents to Hergershausen. In 1929 the parents moved to Lohr am Main and took over a bakery.
1933 she moved with her sister Irene and her brother Julius to Palestine. In 1935 her parents sold the bakery and moved also to Palestine. In 1935 Johanna (Hannah) Stern leased a hotel in Tel Aviv.
In 1988 she came back to visit Lohr.
