Irene Weltsch worked in the Neu-Isenburg Home of the Jewish Women’s Association in the period before autumn 1935. Before that, she had worked in the home of the Jewish Women's League in Wyk on the island of Föhr. She was a friend of Iska Stamm, and she also immigrated to Palestine like her. The two women remained close lifelong friends. Irene Weltsch died in 1987 at the age of 92 in Haifa.
