Lore Tana Süss was probably the daughter of Anna Sophie Süss, who is also listed in this Memorial Book. She was born on June 11, 1939, in Frankfurt am Main.
Lore was ten days old when she was received at to “Heim Isenburg.” She probably stayed there until the forced dissolution of the institution in the spring of 1942. On March 16, 1942, she was deported to Kassel. Six months later, on September 7, 1942, the three-year-old girl was deported from Kassel to the Theresienstadt ghetto. She was then deported from there to the Auschwitz concentration and extermination camp on October 16, 1944. In Auschwitz, the five-year-old Lore Süss was probably murdered immediately after her arrival.
